We suggest a $400.00-$800.00 donation for the Spirit Walk. It is also a requirement that you be a current member of the Peyote Way Church to partake in a Spirit Walk. PWC membership is an additional $50.

Our calendar quickly filled this year, but it seems too early to open the calendar for 2022. Instead, we ask that if you are interested in taking a Spirit Walk in 2022, contact us requesting to be on the notification list for 2022.
The supply of the Holy Sacrament is very limited, and the staff is also down to two people full time and one part time, for the foreseeable future, making the need to raise our suggested Spirit Walk donation to $500 for 2022. Those who joined the Church in 2020 or 2021 attempting to get on the Spirit Walk calendar will have their membership automatically renewed in 2022.
As in previous years we will not request Spirit Walk donations until about two months before the scheduled date.
We regret that this may cause hardship for some individuals, but we are also glad to report that many patrons have already seen the Church’s need and raised their donations accordingly. Please consider leaving a legacy in a will or trust to support the continued work of the Church.
We thank you in advance for your exceeding patience.

A Solitary Experience!
We have found, from unhappy experience, that a friend or partner can unintentionally interfere with a companion’s Spirit Walk. The presence of another person can be a distraction from prayer. Should a couple wish to partake of the Holy Sacrament together, we recommend they take a vow of silence for as long as the spirit is upon them. Since we do not have enough space for non-participants, we urge non-Spirit Walking companions to seek lodging nearby in Safford or visit our local hot springs. Some ideas: Essence of Tranquility, Roper Lake State Park, and Aravaipa Canyon.
Important note about Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
SSRIs may prevent individuals from receiving the full benefit of the Holy Sacrament Peyote. We do not recommend discontinuing your medications just for the Spirit Walk. Confer with a doctor before changing your medications.
If we are informed of a cancellation at least three weeks prior to the date being cancelled, your Spirit Walk donation will be refunded.
Make sure to bring with you the directions for finding us and a hard copy map. Phone service is unreliable in our remote Aravaipa region.
